Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School meets weekly at 10:05. All classes are open to members and visitors.


The Parlor Class meets in the Vera King Parlor on the first floor.  Led by a team of teachers who rotate leadership responsibilities, this class uses the Feasting on the Word and other Bible curriculum.  


The Special Topics Class is focused on discussion of current events and their relevance in a life of faith formed in early 2014. This class meets in the large classroom on the third floor above Kolb Chapel.


Jacob's Well

Wednesdays at 5:30


Jacob's Well a midweek multi-generational evening of fellowship, worship and spiritual formation.  Taking its name from the biblical place where Jacob made his home and found water in the midst of drought, Jacob's Well is an opportunity to grow as a community of faith and in our individual lives of faith with God.  


Through early June, the adult discussion topic is "Presbyterian 101."  Join us for a refresher or and introduction to who Presbyterians are and what we believe.


Past topics include:

  • Scripture as literature
  • Theology and To Kill a Mockingbird
  • The Sermon on the Mount
  • Evil, Suffering, and the Crisis of Faith
  • Faith and Learning featuring faculty from the University of the Ozarks


Jacob's Well meets most weeks from September to May.  A complete calendar can be obtained from the church office.

Midweek Manna

Tuesdays at Noon


Midweek Manna is a weekly bible study hosted jointly with Harmony Presbyterian Church.  To allow participants to come from work, Manna meets at noon each Tuesday in the FPCC parlor and ends no later than 12:55. 


Past Manna topics include:

  • Paul's Letter to the Romans
  • the Gospel of Mark
  • Paul's Letter to the Philippians
  • the book of Hebrews
  • the second half of the book of Genesis
  • the book of Jeremiah
  • Paul's Letter to the Galatians
  • 1&2 Peter
  • the Gospel of Luke


Midweek Manna is currently studying the Book of Acts.  Starting in mid-July, we will begin a study of the prophet Jeremiah.
