Spring Semester, 2019!

Join us at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel lower level with coffee, donuts, fellowship, and Bible study opportunities. The Special Topics class is reading an engaging new book by Eric Metaxas about Martin Luther: The Man who Rediscovered God and Changed the World. It brings new research and perspective into the radical changes Martin Luther brought in his lifetime and how his teachings and search for truth impact us today. Come join for discussions, no reading or prep necessary for participation!

Also, this spring semester, Rev. Krista Denné is leading a Bible study in U of O cafeteria every Tuesday following 11:30 a.m. Chapel. The topic of study is the book of Revelation, beginning this week, February 5, 2019.

U of O Chapel continues Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m., worship directed by UOzarks Chaplain Rev. Jeremy Wilhelmi, Munger-Wilson Memorial Chapel

Welcome Back, Students, Faculty, and Staff!

In September, 2018 we will start a new study based upon the book Kneeling with Giants:  Learning to Pray with History’s Best Teachers by Gary Neal Hansen.   We will learn about many Christian ways to pray in ways that span many centuries and look at a wide variety of perspectives, including Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, Reformed, evangelical, and charismatic traditions.  Join us either (or both!) of two times, Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the lower level of the Munger-Wilson Memorial Chapel, and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in Campus Perks.  Come to one or both gatherings for great discussion and learning, led by Rev. Krista Denné.  The study is designed as a drop-in study, no preparation required.

P. S. Krista and her husband Doug KNOW the author, so there may be some opportunities for getting input directly from the author at some point!

This week (Sunday, August 26, 10:00 a.m. in the lower level of Munger-Wilson Memorial Chapel) we will complete the O'Donohue book To Bless the Space Between Us, about the gift of blessings and how to use and appreciate the power of blessings-- also a drop-in study.
